Sometimes we tend to look at others and think that they have a lot of things ‘going for them’. They may be attractive, popular and get opportunities with ease. It is incorrect to think that it’s not possible for these people to experience depression. In fact, this belief may make it easier to ignore, or not notice the warning signs, or the need for social and other support.
We must remember that Depression can affect anyone regardless of how good their life appears at face value. The causes for depression are multiple including one being predisposed to it because of family history.
