What are some myths around mental health and accessing support that you would like us to bust?

In life, all of us may experience ups and downs. There may be low phases when we experience emotions like anxiety, fear, grief and sadness. We all have developed our own ways to respond to these emotions and situations. Sometimes however, we find that we are unable to move past these emotions, by ourselves.

It may seem like a great idea to reach out for help or mental health support at this point, and yet it seems like so many of us find it very hard to do so. We are starting a new series of posts, Myth Busting Mondays wherein we will highlight those thoughts or myths that create barriers in our minds towards accessing support.
